Latest Updates from Our Project:

Bottled Sea + Undying Sands campaign is LIVE
about 2 years ago – Fri, Jan 21, 2022 at 01:50:15 AM

Hello!

As promised, quick update to let you all know that the Mausritter boxsets and adventure collections will likely be produced during the month of February. The factories/printers are not expecting any delays, so everything seems to be on track. We will post another progress update in the beginning of February to let you know how things are going. Fingers crossed. Fulfillment is one step closer!

MORE KICKSTARTER

We'd also like to take the opportunity to say that the Undying Sands + Bottled Sea kickstarter by Games Omnivorous is now live. If you're into minimalist hexcrawls, this might be your jam. Come say hi.

Thank you!

Adventure Collection PDFs are here!

Hello everyone! Some very exciting news today — the digital edition of the Adventure Collection is now available for download!

All backers of the Adventure Collection should have an email in their inboxes already with a download link on Itch.io. Please let us know if you don't see yours, or if you have any issues with the downloadable files.

We'll also be sending out DriveThruRPG links later in the week if you prefer to use that.

I'm so excited to see these adventures finally out in the world. With so many incredible authors and illustrators, you'll have a campaigns worth of amazing locations to explore, mysteries to solve and dangerous creatures to battle.

Downloadable now on Itch.io

One more thing: Typos!  We've gone through these adventures with a fine-toothed comb and tried to pick out all the mistakes, but there's always something that slips through the cracks. If you notice anything, please let us know — we'd love to have these as perfect as possible before they go to print. You can add any mistakes you notice to the Google Form here.

Production is starting !

Happy new year everyone!

We have some good news. Mausritter boxset and adventure collection are officially heading for printing next week! Production involves three different factories/printers, which requires some 'logistical gymnastics', but we are almost there. We still do not have an ETA on how long these will take to produce - mostly because some of the components require special papers or materials and the supply chains are still a bit uncertain these days - but we are still aiming to have it wrapped up in February, as originally advertised. Fingers crossed. We will keep you posted.

Digital Release

We are glad to announce that we intend to make digital files for the adventure collection available for backers very soon. Possibly next week. These include 11 (!) new adventure sites & respective inventory cards, and a little campaign booklet that gives advice on how to connect all of the modules together in a coherent setting, as well as a map that you can give to players. These will be delivered via ITCH. Keep an eye out for incoming mails.

THANK YOU!

Andre.

Finish line in sight!

Hello Mausfans, I wanted to you know where we're at with the Adventure Collection and the Box Set.

Everything is progressing nicely, and I am happy to say that all the content is complete!

Adventure Collection

All adventures have been written, illustrated, laid-out, edited, proofread and playtested! We've got a really fantastic selection of strange, dangerous and fun adventures for you to explore. I'm so excited to see them all together like this, and will be doubly excited when they're in print.

Along with the adventures themselves, we've been busy making a little 8-page guidebook to The Estate. This will be included in the Adventure Collection, and give GMs a great selection of tools to help them tie the adventures together into an ongoing campaign. Inside, you'll find a map of the Estate, a guide to the settlement of Brickport, a summary of some of the ways the adventures connect with each other, and four factions vying for control.

We've also prepped all the additional tools included with the Adventure Collection — a sheet of item cards for each adventure, and a player-facing map without all those details you don't want them to see.

Box Set

The second printing box set has also been prepped, including the new GM Session sheet, and I've gone through the rulebook with a fine-toothed comb for any small mistakes we might have missed the first time round.

We've also designed the new boxes for both the Adventure Collection and the Box Set! They're going to look fantastic on your shelf—either alone, together, or next to the first-edition box.

What's next?

The next step will be sending everything to the printer to get proofs, which we'll doing this week. Assuming no major disasters and we're happy with the proofs, we should we well on track to send everything to the printers in early January!

In the meantime, I'll also be working on finishing up the digital edition of the adventure collection. Because of [complicated printing reasons], the documents we have now will look fantastic in print, but will take a little bit of work to look just as nice on the screen. I'll aim to have these done in the next few weeks.

Thanks for reading, and wishing everyone a safe and happy festive season!

Backer Kit update
over 2 years ago – Fri, Nov 26, 2021 at 04:26:56 PM

Hi there!

Quick update to say that the orders have now been locked via BackerKit and the cards have been charged, as per our last update.

If you see a charge from EXALTED FUNERAL, this is us. Because EF is doing the largest portion of fulfillment, they kindly accepted we used their BackerKit to facilitate the processing of orders later on.

Sorry if this has caused any confusion to any backer.

Questions

If you have any questions, issues or you're unsure whether your card was charged, please reach out at [email protected] and we'll try to solve it as quickly as possible.

THANK YOU!

P.S. an update on content progress will come in the next week or two.
